ME2 Muhammad Khairunnizam Bin Amran
Principal

Enlisted in 2004, ME2 Khairunnizam holds a Fellowship Diploma from the Trinity College of London.
With the SAF Central Band, ME2 Khairunnizam has performed at various international military tattoo festivals in countries such as Canada, China, Japan, Malaysia, Russia, Sweden, and The United States. He has also led the saxophone quartet in various performances that includes a concert at the Brickell Academy in Norfolk, Virginia (USA), as well as numerous Chamber Repertory concerts at the Esplanade.
Noted for his versatility across various genres, ME2 Khairunnizam has been featured frequently as a soloist with the SAF Central Band both locally and abroad. One of the highlights of his career was performing the opening solo at the Japan Self-Defense Forces Marching Festival in 2018.
ME2 Khairunnizam also serves as Instrument Accessories Manager.

ME3 Ang Yi Xiang
Concertmaster

Enlisted in 2007, ME3 Ang holds a Licentiate Diploma in saxophone performance from Trinity College London.
Apart from the SAF Central Band, ME3 Ang actively performs with various ensembles in Singapore, including the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonic Winds. He was also part of the Southeast Asian Youth Orchestra & Wind Ensemble in 2008 and the Asian Youth Orchestra in 2009. As a member of the Xin Saxophone Quartet, ME3 Ang also performed at the World Saxophone Congress in 2018.
In his former appointment as the Chief Choreographer, ME3 Ang has choreographed numerous display performances by the SAF Central Band both locally and abroad. This includes the National Day Parade in 2015 and 2016, the 2014 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Scotland, Basel Tattoo in Switzerland and the 2017 Virginia International Tattoo in the United States of America.
Upon completion of the Joint Leadership Course and the Advanced Military Musician Course, ME3 Ang was promoted to his current rank on 1 July 2023.
ME2 Pee Jun Ming
Group Leader

ME2 Pee enlisted in 2009 and holds a Master of Education in Music from the Nanyang Technological University, a Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons) in Management from University College Dublin, and a Licentiate Diploma from Trinity College London.
His work in display choreography has been featured at major international events, including the Japan Self-Defense Forces Marching Festival (2018), the Nanchang International Military Tattoo (2019), the Virginia International Tattoo (2023), Musikfest der Bundeswehr (2024), and the National Day Parade in Singapore.
ME2 Pee has studied under distinguished educators such as Dr. Zechariah Goh, Professor Shyen Lee, Professor Vince Gnojek, Professor Chien-Kwan Lin, Professor Dan Gelok, and Shawn Letts. He has also performed with ensembles including the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, the Singapore Lyric Opera, the Orchestra of the Music Makers, the Thomson Big Band, and Orchestra Collective.
As Group Leader, ME2 Pee oversees the operational management of the SAF Central Band and, as Chief Choreographer, leads the Display Choreography & Trainers Team. He is also an accredited judge with both the World Marching Band Organization and the Asian Marching Band Confederation, further showcasing his recognition and passion for international marching band arts and education.
