ME3 Chew Wei Ren Justin
Chief Sound Engineer

Enlisted in 2005, ME3 Chew holds an Associate Diploma (Distinction) from the Trinity College of London in oboe performance.
ME3 Chew began his musical education at the age of 7 learning the electone. He later took up the oboe in secondary school and has performed with various groups including the Singapore National Youth Orchestra, Mus’Art Wind Orchestra, Singapore Lyric Opera, The Philharmonic Winds, Orchestra of the Music Makers, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Chamber Orchestra & Wind Ensemble and the Windstars Ensemble.
ME3 Chew graduated from the 13/24 Joint Leadership Course.
ME2 Leow Rui Qing
Principal Oboe
ME2 Leow Rui Qing enlisted with a Master of Music from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the class of Ms Miriam Pastor Burgos and Mr Ernest Rombout. Prior to her Masters, she obtained her Bachelor of Music (Honours) from the Royal College of Music (London), and Diploma in Music Performance from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts under the tutelage of Mr Pan Yun.
During her studies in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, she learnt baroque oboe in her final year under the tutelage of Mr Josep Domènech. As a core member of Red Dot Baroque, she performs regularly on the baroque oboe and oboe d’amore, and was recently the soloist in oboe concertos by Marcello and Albinoni, performing locally and abroad.
In her formative years, ME2 Leow performed on tour with the Asian Youth Orchestra as well as the Nationaal Jeugdorkest. Her professional orchestral engagements include the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, and The Philharmonic Orchestra (Singapore).
Prior to signing on with the Singapore Armed Forces Central Band, ME2 Leow was a general music teacher with the Ministry of Education, educating and inspiring the next generation of Singaporeans for seven years. She also serves as Community Outreach Manager.
