Oboe/English Horn

Enlisted in 2005, ME2 Chew holds an Associate Diploma (Distinction) from the Trinity College of London in oboe performance.

ME2 Chew began his musical education at the age of 7 learning the electone. He later took up the oboe in secondary school and has performed with various groups including the Singapore National Youth Orchestra, Mus’Art Wind Orchestra, Singapore Lyric Opera, The Philharmonic Winds, Orchestra of the Music Makers, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Chamber Orchestra & Wind Ensemble and the Windstars Ensemble.

ME2 Chew graduated from the 13/24 Joint Leadership Course (JLC) and serves as Chief Sound Engineer.
