Combo Band

ME2 Lim enlisted in the SAF in 1999. He received his Licentiate Diploma in saxophone performance with Distinction from Trinity College of Music in 2004. Through his career, he has served as Saxophone Section Leader and Sergeant Major of the band’s Training Wing till 2012.

Besides the saxophone, ME2 Lim also doubles on flute and clarinet and is passionate about performing jazz and pop music. He is an active member of the Thomson Big Band and Susan Harmer's Tropic Green. He also performed with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and Hong Kong Philharmonic as a guest musician. His recording work includes Mediacorp TV drama theme songs, variety productions, and award shows.

ME2 Lim is also active in Singapore’s theatre industry. Productions he performed for include Singapore Repertory There’s production of LKY Musical (2022) starring Adrian Pang and Kit Chan, Base Entertainment's Sunset Boulevard (2025) starring Sarah Bridgman and Xin Yao (新谣) concerts by T.C.R 弹唱人. Over the years, he has had the privilege of performing with internationally renowned singers such as Paul Anka and Frankie Valli.
