Willing Hearts Community Project

In the early hours of 17 July 2025, the SAF Central Band took on a different kind of service at Willing Hearts—assisting with food preparation and delivery for the less privileged. While distinct from our usual mission of sharing music with the public, it was a deeply meaningful way to connect with the community and reaffirm our commitment to serve beyond the stage.

Donning gloves, hygiene caps, and aprons to uphold the cleanliness standards required for safe food handling.

As part of the food preparation process, cooked rice was loosened for easier handling before portions of protein and vegetables were added to complete each meal package.

Musicians of the SAF Central Band then carpooled in groups to various locations across the country to deliver food packages directly to households.
