Volunteers serve alongside regulars, NSFs, and NSmen in a range of roles that support the SAF’s operational and community missions. One unique avenue of service is through the SAFVC Band—a musical formation comprising trained volunteer Military Musicians committed to upholding the ceremonial and representational excellence of the SAF Band. They undergo structured training to develop both their musical and military competencies, participate in regular rehearsals, and work closely with the SAF Band to deliver high-quality musical support across a variety of national events, concerts, and military engagements.
