Music Composition and Arrangement Office

The Music Composition and Arrangement Office (MCAO) plays a vital role in shaping the musical identity of the SAF Band. Responsible for composing original works, arranging and adapting music for a wide range of ensembles and ceremonial contexts, the MCAO ensures that the band's repertoire remains artistically and operationally relevant. From state ceremonies to public concerts and international engagements, the team works closely with military and civilian stakeholders to create music that best represents Singapore and the SAF on the world stage.

SAF Ceremonial Music

The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Ceremonial Music upholds the dignity and traditions of Singapore’s military heritage. Curated and revised by the MCAO, these works support official state functions, parades, and ceremonial occasions. Scores to the SAF Ceremonial Music are made available below to support formal use by educational institutions, military organisations, and recognised entities for official parade rehearsals and related purposes.

National Anthem of the Republic of Singapore

As the musical embodiment of Singapore's identity and sovereignty, the National Anthem ("Majulah Singapura") holds the highest place of honour within the SAF Ceremonial Music. Its performance is reserved for formal occasions of national significance, military ceremonies, and settings where respect, discipline, and dignity are upheld. Regimental Marches of the SAF

Composed with distinct ceremonial purpose, the SAF Regimental Marches are musical representations of the identity and esprit de corps of each service within the SAF. These marches are performed during parades and key military occasions, reinforcing a sense of pride and honour among servicemen and servicewomen. As such, they are not interchangeable and must be used only in contexts appropriate to their designated service:
