We had a remarkable evening on 12 September 2025 performing under the batons of our Honorary Guest Conductor Douglas Bostock and Senior Director of Music Military Expert 6 (ME6) Philip Tng! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and shared in this special occasion!

Titled “Celebration,” the programme celebrated the brilliance of the wind orchestra repertoire, featuring Adam Gorb’s 𝘈𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘥𝘢𝘺, Toshio Mashima’s 𝘓𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘥𝘶 𝘑𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘯, and Florent Schmitt’s 𝘋𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴.

The concert also celebrates 20 years of collaboration and friendship between Douglas Bostock and the SAF Central Band. Maestro Bostock has shaped the artistic development of the band and guided its growth into an ensemble of international calibre.

The evening concluded with an encore of Percy Grainger’s 𝘔𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘦. The SAF Central Band would once again like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Maestro Bostock for his continued artistic guidance.
