Percussion Repertory: Convergence

On 24 May 2025, 3Beat Percussion, the percussion section of the Singapore Armed Forces Central Band, launched the inaugural concert of their Percussion Repertory series. Entitled “Convergence,” this concert was performed in collaboration with local percussion group Morse Percussion, exploring both classics of percussion chamber repertoire to new works by local composers and a local premiere to boot.

Following up was a performance by Morse Percussion of “Arch” by Dr Robert Casteels. Originally written to be accompanied by Japanese dialogue, this version has been translated to Mandarin for the local audience.
